Jollyes: Paw-some PR for new store launch

When Jollyes prepared to open its new Belfast store, the goal was simple: create a launch that captured local attention, celebrated the community and drove customers through the doors. Working against tight timelines, Cubiquity/Bigkid delivered a creative, high-energy campaign that turned a store opening into a memorable community event success.

The challenge

Jollyes wanted to make its new Belfast store launch feel memorable, local and full of energy. The Doggie Dander gave the brand a chance to turn awareness into footfall.

With tight timings and procurement delays, the campaign needed quick thinking, clear communication and reliable delivery. Every element had to feel on-brand, engaging and ready for launch day.

The solution

Bigkid explored Jollyes’ goals, researched the opportunity and developed three creative concepts. Feasibility was checked early, helping the marketing team choose a strong idea with confidence.

Close collaboration between Jollyes, Cubiquity/Bigkid and the PR agency kept the project moving. The final campaign included branded dog bandanas, bowls, keyrings, stickers, wayfinding and an inflatable start arch.

The outcome

More than 130 dog walkers attended, creating user-generated content and helping drive opening-day sales. The success strengthened the partnership, leading to further creative and print projects for Jollyes.

Why print still matters in a digital age (especially for B2B)

In a world of overflowing inboxes, endless tabs and fast-moving digital content, print still has the power to make people pause. For B2B brands, it offers something digital often can’t: a tangible, memorable experience that builds trust, reinforces credibility and helps campaigns stand out for the right reasons.

Great merch does more than carry a logo. It tells a story, sparks a reaction and creates a tangible brand moment people actually want to keep.
