Conception       

288 locations across the UK. One streamlined, hyper-efficient marketing and procurement solution. That’s what HSS, one of the UK’s leading tool and plant hire companies, needed, and that’s what they brought us in to deliver. The challenge? That no two of these 288 stores was alike, both in terms of store footprint and customer profile. Every single store needed a unique POS, full range of marketing collateral and logistics service, to ensure that its customer requirements were met.

 

Creation

Thanks to the flexibility and technological capability of our secure online portal, we were able to set up store-by-store parameters for call-off, sign-off and distribution. The system we set up for HSS is multi-tiered and highly functional, but, for the end user, incredibly simple. With a personalised login, each user views only the stock, merchandise and logistics relevant to them and their store. No cross overs. No confusion.

 

Culmination

For HSS and its employees, the transition to Cubiquity Online was seamless and enjoyable. For us, it required scrutiny, foresight and days of hard work. The result, however, saw our retail store print management services assume control of the entire suite of HSS marketing material, supported by highly responsive warehousing and logistics. We now have a second hub for non-store HSS employees to order their key day-to-day operational collateral, while our account management teams undertake monthly store visits to review processes, products and maximise performance. More recently, we were commissioned by HSS to organise print, production and UK-wide distribution of 215,000 new customer catalogues. Efficient, far-reaching and cost-effective: for HSS, it’s been a job well done.
