When it came to needing to replenish our Cubiquity notepads we took the opportunity to embrace our RISE values and create a beautiful and environmentally conscious notebook.

Who doesn’t love the look and feel of new stationery! We do, so when it came to needing to replenish our Cubiquity notepad we took the opportunity to embrace our RISE values and create a beautiful and environmentally conscious notebook.

The design, materials and production method used in the creation of the notepad were carefully selected to support our commitments to the environment and sustainability.

Here are just a few of the decisions we made:

  • DesignThe artwork from Bigkid ensured the deign was sympathetic to the recycled and recyclable materials and inks we used in the production process
  • Fun – Who wants a boring notebook? To make ours stand out and give even more than just pages to write on, we chose seeded paper for our front cover, which is completely bio-degradeable and will grow bee-friendly wildflowers
  • Paper – As a Carbon Balanced Business with the World Land Trust (WLT) we chose to use Carbon Balanced Paper for the pages of our book. This means any carbon emissions resulting from the paper’s production has been offset through the WLT schemes around the world
  • Informative – We know sustainability is an important topic, but it can be difficult to see the wood for the trees when it comes to finding facts about the sustainability and environmental impact of paper. So we’ve included the Love Paper campaign logo from our partner Two-Sides which helps to bust some of those myths around print and paper sustainability.

If you’d like to know more about the processes that we followed and how you can integrate sustainability into your own print, contact us at RISE@cubiquitymdia.com
