Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity. By 2021, one million people in the UK will be living with the condition. The Society provides essential support to anyone affected by dementia with the charity working tirelessly to find new treatments and, ultimately, a cure for dementia. They also provide expert information, training, and supporting services to all those who need their help. With 2,500 employees, more than 6,000 volunteers and 3m Dementia Friends, the Alzheimer’s team were seeking a consistently great quality and excellent value for money service from their print management partner.

The Society were sourcing over 8 million printed items per annum across a range of materials from:

  • Collateral used to support fundraising,
  • Catalogues and pamphlets to promote the online retail arm of the society along with marketing materials,
  • A range of magazines, fact sheets, booklets, guides and leaflets.

They were looking for a supplier relationship to help them grow by lowering overall print costs, leveraging on the entire print requirements and volume, offering a leaner approach with simpler ordering, reporting and invoicing, and having consistent processes for placing work in an efficient manner and maximising benefit through new technology and innovation.

We made sure that the transition was as simple and as smooth as possible by offering continuous support throughout the implementation process both on and off site, which included:

  • A fully managed system and implementation training,
  • An agreed set of KPIs and SLAs with extensive stakeholder engagement,
  • Brand guardianship and a full evaluation of the current WIP status across all key stakeholder teams,
  • A client branded online portal was created, allowing “super users” to request quotes and build variable templates,
  • Track the status of their campaigns from start to finish and place re-orders,
  • Providing the controls and efficiencies the society needed.

Not only are we a partner of the Society but the Cube team are also Dementia Friends and are 100% committed to the cause. From memory walks, fundraising events and individuals’ sponsored activities, we’re proud to be part of the Alzheimer’s Society’s vision.

“Cube came through a rigorous procurement process, and have fully bought into our values of transparency, cost-efficiency and profit driven by demonstrable service quality. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.”
