BACK TO THE SOURCE WITH VEOLIA

Conception

Veolia are the UK’s leader in environmental management solutions. They operate from over 150 sites nationwide and were seeking a new solution that would enable all of their sites to order key operational stationery and marketing lines from a single, reliable source. Their previous supplier had struggled to cope with the high volume of site requests and hundreds of product lines needing constant replenishment. A lot of lines were also site specific, so any new solution required the flexibility to create local product lists, with the aim of eliminating cross-contamination of stock. Cubiquity won a highly competitive tender and immediately set about demonstrating how our systems and account teams could make a lasting difference.

Creation

We worked hard to collate user lists and review existing artwork files. Our expert transition team then engaged directly with the previous supplier to organise a controlled handover of all existing stocks. Within 48 hours we had over 250 lines, actioned any replenishment needs and set up the new systems for Veolia approval, while meeting with key users and stakeholders to introduce the new systems and provide training where required. Clear lines of communication were established, and within just five working days over 55 pallets had been transferred, counted and re-listed on our warehouse shelves.

Culmination

Since the beginning of the project, our team has constantly evolved its work practices to deliver top value and an immaculate service to Veolia, with account directors regularly meeting on-site teams to ensure all requirements are being met. By linking directly into Veolia’s Oracle systems, users can now access our site, generate purchase orders and trace all costs from a single touch point. We have also helped to arrange easy collection of products from 150 sites, launch a new uniform recycling initiative, and enabled concise budget management for each Veolia site. The MIS data we deliver allows accurate cross-charging of costs, usage analysis (delivering lower unit costs) and reduced wastage. One integrated, seamless solution. A real, tangible difference. That’s what Veolia asked for. That’s what Cubiquity delivered.
